Background, experience and philosophy
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology (cand.psych.) from the University of Copenhagen and University of California, San Diego, with a particular interest in existential psychology and clinical sexology. Through my education and professional experience, I have worked with themes such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, relationships, sexuality, and life’s more challenging transitions.
I have supplemented my academic background with courses in existential therapy and couples therapy, and I work from a holistic perspective that integrates mind, body, and emotions. In addition, I have several years of experience in teaching and facilitating within the field of sexuality and well-being.
I also work at the intersection of psychology, art, and creativity—particularly through the platform Sexualia, which I founded in 2021. Here, I have collaborated with, among others, the Municipality of Copenhagen, independent artists, and youth organizations to create spaces for reflection, dialogue, and development through creative and sensory processes.
In my work, I place great emphasis on creating a safe, open, and curious space where you can explore yourself and what matters most in your life.
I divide my time between Copenhagen and San Diego, from where I offer online therapeutic sessions for young people and adults.
I stay up to date with the latest knowledge, receive ongoing supervision, and regularly participate in relevant courses and continuing education. I am a member of the Danish Psychological Association and the Professional Society for Gender and Sexuality within the association.
